Kat Jong, MD
Doctor Kat Jong is a Psychiatrist originally from New York City. Kat has a passion for health care systems design and innovation, as well as teaching and mentorship. Prior to starting her medical training, she helped Manage the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Washington. She has won awards for her teaching and completed the Master Educator Program through the Association for Academic Psychiatry.
Having lived in both large cities and small towns, she is excited to be able to expand access to patients in rural and underserved communities through telepsychiatry.
At Frontier Psychiatry she is leading design and implementation of the PRISM for Moms teleconsultation line, helping to expand access to expert advice on perinatal psychiatry to clinicians taking care of individuals and families during pregnancy and after delivery. Outside of work she is an avid traveler, writer, and cook.
