Nita Kofchock, PMHNP-BC, WHNP-BC (APRN)
Nita joins Frontier Psychiatry as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 16 years of experience in healthcare. She is passionate about providing quality care to underserved communities through telepsychiatry and has practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, crisis, and residential. Her clinical work focuses on emergency psychiatry, suicide risk assessment, schizophrenia, substance induced psychosis, and women’s mental health. Nita is also a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in high-risk obstetrics and has a special interest in the treatment of psychiatric disorders during the perinatal and postpartum periods. Nita is currently enrolled in the Master Psychopharmacology Certificate Program with the Neuroscience Education Institute. She has an interest in pursuing further education in Neuropsychiatry, particularly in the treatment of neuropsychiatric sequelae associated with traumatic brain injury.
